Content Management Systems (CMS) power a majority of all of the websites on the internet. WordPress is one of the biggest CMS platforms out there. One of the greatest benefits of WordPress is that is open source and the license allows for developers around the globe to contribute and extend to its functionality. Thousands of plugins are under active development that provide the special features. However, these plugins require regular updates. Think of it like getting your car tuned up.

Our service plan also ensures your website is backed up and up-to-date. We also monitor for malware infections and cyberattacks. Support tickets are available based on your package. Use a support ticket allows for minor modifications to your site. An example could be the following: changes in your restaurant menu, changes within your company employee roster, or perhaps you just need to fix a broken link to an outdated article.

Please note: There is a $75 set up fee for sites that were not originally developed by Willhouse. An administrator account and access to server via FTP/SFTP is required to set up service plan.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Does it matter which web hosting I am using?

We have worked with many different web hosting companies large and small. We know how to speak their language to get things done. If there are any issues we will work with the hosting company to get them resolved. In most cases we can develop solutions.

Do you offer 24/7 technical support?

We offer support tickets which, under most circumstances, are answered within 24 hours. Once you sign up for a maintenance plan starting a support ticket is as easy as sending an email.

Do you support WordPress Multisite or WordPress.com sites?

At present, we do not support WordPress Multisite, WordPress Multi-network or WordPress.com sites.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes.

Can I get a discount if I sign up for a year?

For new Clients we currently only offer month to month plans. For established Clients please inquire about our yearly rates.

I have a lot of creative people adding content to the site, will this affect their work?

Keeping your WordPress core and plugins up-to-date could help your bloggers with new tools not previously available if you are running older plugins. If you have a large number of contributors we will work with you to ensure that everyone is happy. We are also early adopters to Gutenberg and can help with this transition.

Where do you store the backups? How long are they kept?

Backups are stored securely either on our Amazon S3 or Dropbox.

What is database optimization?

When WordPress core or certain plugins are updated it is sometimes necessary to run a database optimization to clean out old tables or create new ones.

Are there any restoration fees if you have to use a backup to restore the site?

If you are currently on one of our plans then restoration is free. If you are not currently on one of our plans there is a $350 restoration fee.

Can I use any of my unused support tickets? 

For Luxe plans, 1 support ticket is added for every paid invoice. A support ticket is valid for 30 days and is good for 30 minutes (great for text updates, photo updates or other basic content revisions). Any work performed over the 30 minute limit will be billed on an hourly basis. With a PRO PLAN for every paid invoice we add the monthly support ticket AND any unused tickets rollover. You can accumulate up to 6 hours worth of support tickets.

Pro Plan: How does the roll over ticket work?

  1. Support tickets do not roll over unless you purchase or upgrade to the Pro plan.
  2. Once enrollment to the Pro plan is verified, unused ticket allotment will rollover with each paid bill from the start date of the Pro plan.
  3. Every paid bill will add support ticket to the monthly allotment.
  4. Rollover tickets will automatically be used for work requested or if there are unforeseen emergency situations that require immediate and prolonged attention to revive and/or fix a site.
  5. All support tickets (including rollover tickets) will be deleted upon cancellation of the maintenance plan.
  6. There are no refunds of rollover tickets. A ticket has no monetary value. Rollover tickets cap at 6 hours (i.e 12 tickets).
  7. Any support tickets not used in the span of a two year period will be considered forfeit.
  8. We reserve the right to cancel any plan for any reason.
