Alchemy Beauty Company is an all-in-one beauty collective located in a historic building in midtown Ventura, California. Offering a comprehensive suite of high-end services—including custom color, extensions, barbering, lashes, facials, and nails—the salon serves as a single, transformative space where “the magic happens.” Despite their strong service offering and unique physical location, the business’s visual presence had outgrown its original styling. Alchemy Beauty Company required a comprehensive brand refresh to better align its physical environment with a cohesive brand identity and voice, aimed at attracting a discerning clientele who value both luxury and self-care.

Our approach

To elevate the salon’s presence, we developed a comprehensive creative strategy focused on building a mature, magical brand identity that feels both soulful and modern. We designed a versatile suite of new brand assets and established a refined social media direction that seamlessly blends the historic charm of their space with a contemporary aesthetic. Additionally, we created a photo shoot to capture the shop owner, Katelyn’s personality, and the salon’s essence in action. The resulting brand voice and visual ecosystem effectively communicate Alchemy’s unique blend of modern luxury and mystical charm, positioning them as a unique voice in the salon market.
