It was an absolute pleasure to photograph the incredibly talented, thoughtful, and celebrated Chef @claudetteazepeda Every so often, life presents a “pinch me” moment, and this was undoubtedly one of them. Not only did I get to savor a beautiful meal created by Chef Claudette and her amazing team, but I also had the honor to capture some of the magic with my camera. Thank you, Chef, for your warmth, which put me at ease instantly. Plus, the energy in your kitchen is electric, and the food... absolutely unforgettable! There’s something truly special about Disney Day

There’s something truly special about Disney Days—a heartwarming event that brings together siblings separated by the foster care system for a day of pure joy and unforgettable memories. It’s more than just a day at a theme park; it’s a reminder that all kids matter. It’s about giving children the opportunity to hold their siblings’ hands on a rollercoaster, enjoy special treats like ice cream and popcorn and pick out a special souvenir they’ll treasure forever.

I have the incredible honor of capturing these magical moments. As a photographer, my goal is to ensure that these memories are preserved forever. In just a couple of weeks, a memory book will be delivered by Foster Love to each child who attended, filled with pictures of their day together. (A note about the photos in this post, they have faux glasses over their eyes to protect their identity)

Disney Days is just one of the many ways @FosterLove supports children in foster care.
