St. Bibiana

Cindy Black, a highly respected Santa Barbara chef, previously partnered with us on two of her ventures—a dessert company and the acclaimed The Blue Owl. Building on that longstanding relationship, she came to us with a vision for a new pizza concept: high-quality sourdough pizzas, fresh market-driven ingredients, and thoughtfully crafted seasonal dishes. She needed guidance from the very inception of the project, as well as ongoing support as the brand took shape.
From the ground up, we partnered closely with Cindy to define the name, craft a one-of-a-kind brand identity, and design the menu, signage, and photography—bringing the spirit of her concept to life. The brand draws inspiration from the name St. Bibiana, the patron saint of hangovers, resulting in a colorful, playful identity infused with the vibrant essence of Santa Barbara’s mission architecture. With beautiful pink hues and plenty of room for creative expression, we aimed to make the brand feel inclusive, joyful, and celebratory—because, after all, food is meant to be enjoyed. We continue to support St. Bibiana with brand collateral, photography, and website management, ensuring the brand evolves seamlessly as her business grows.
