Ventura Land Trust
Willhouse partnered with the Ventura Land Trust (VLT) to modernize its digital presence and connect the community to its conserved lands. We consolidated the VLT and Ventura Wild platforms into a single, cohesive Squarespace website that is visually compelling and accessible. As frequent users of these local open spaces, we were also thrilled to design the information kiosk panels at Harmon Canyon. This entire project deeply reflects our shared commitment to community-driven land conservation.
Translating the Beauty of the Land into a Digital Ecosystem
Our approach began with a discovery and audit process to seamlessly bridge Ventura Land Trust’s physical and digital presence. To ensure complete brand unity, we drew visual direction directly from their logo and the illustrative style of the Harmon Canyon kiosk panels we previously designed. Every decision from strict WCAG3 accessibility compliance to seamless donation and event integrations—was intentionally engineered to translate VLT’s physical identity into a highly functional digital ecosystem.
